The Dickerson Family

Courtney and Ray Dickerson are pictured with three of their five children and four of their 7 grandchildren. Courtney is a native and lifelong resident of Fort Worth and Ray was basically raised in Arizona but got to Fort Worth as soon as he could in 1971.

Courtney is a graduate of Arlington Heights High School and attended Pine Manor in Massachusetts and the University of Texas. She recently retired from Brants Realtors where she served as a residential realtor for over 20 years. She has served as President of the Junior League and with numerous civic organizations.

Ray graduated high school in Tucson, Arizona and earned both a Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree while on a baseball scholarship at Texas A & M.  He started his banking career in Houston and moved to town in 1971 with Continental National Bank. In 1986 he chartered Citizens National Bank and served as its Chairman and President until the Bank was sold in 2007. He is a former President of the Board of Trustees of the Fort Worth School District. He has served on the Boards of many civic organizations and has served as Chairman of The Gladney Center, Tarrant County YMCA, and the All Saints Health Foundation. He is currently serving on the Boards of Baylor All Saints Hospital, All Saints Health Foundation and the Ft. Worth Symphony Orchestra. His primary job today is Grandfather.
